Kirsty Bowering is the Director and Founder of Palms Physiotherapy & Allied Health, holding a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Curtin University (2009). She has built Palms into a welcoming, inclusive and multidisciplinary practice that supports people of all ages and abilities.
Kirsty has a special interest in women’s and men’s pelvic health and TMJ dysfunction, with additional training allowing her to provide targeted, evidence-based care. She is known for her problem-solving approach and her ability to support clients with complex or long-standing conditions, always focusing on practical, meaningful outcomes.
As a leader, Kirsty is passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment for both her team and clients. She values collaboration, growth and authenticity, and is committed to delivering high-quality, accessible care to the community.
As a mother of three, Kirsty understands the realities of balancing health and everyday life, bringing a relatable and down-to-earth approach to her work. Her passion for physiotherapy and dedication to inclusive care continue to drive the vision of Palms Allied Health.
Olivia is a dedicated Senior Physiotherapist known for her empathetic and problem-solving approach to treatment. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and abilities, with a particular passion for supporting children and individuals living with disability.
Olivia takes the time to understand each client’s unique presentation, focusing on identifying the underlying causes of issues to achieve long-term, meaningful outcomes. She works closely with clients and their families to create practical, goal-focused treatment plans.
With specialised training in Level 1 Strength & Conditioning (ASCA), Dry Needling, Reformer and Matwork Pilates, Olivia delivers a holistic, movement-based approach to rehabilitation, helping clients improve strength, flexibility and overall function.
Olivia leads reformer Pilates classes at the Malaga clinic, where her caring nature, clinical expertise and dedication to her clients make her a valued member of the team.

Tiffany Wang is a compassionate and skilled Physiotherapist with extensive experience treating musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, acute sports injuries, and chronic pain management.
She is dedicated to developing trusting relationships with her clients, believing that a strong rapport leads to better therapy compliance and, ultimately, better outcomes.
Tiffany has a keen interest in paediatrics, having worked in the field previously, and enjoys helping children achieve their movement milestones. Her passion for making a difference led her to spend three months on a secondment as a physiotherapist with Mercy Ships off Africa, where she provided essential care to those in need, gaining unique global healthcare experience.
With her diverse skill set and client-focused approach, Tiffany is committed to helping individuals of all ages regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their movement.
Rebecca is a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong academic background, holding a Bachelor of Science (Exercise, Sports, and Rehabilitation Science) with Honours and a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Curtin University. She also has a degree in Photography, reflecting her creative perspective and attention to detail both in and outside of healthcare.
With a passion for movement, performance, and injury prevention, Rebecca enjoys working with athletes and active individuals, particularly in sports such as netball and basketball. She understands the physical demands of sport and is focused on helping clients recover effectively while optimising their performance and resilience.
Rebecca’s background in exercise science and rehabilitation supports her in developing tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that focus on restoring function, building strength, and preventing future injury. She takes a practical, goal-oriented approach and works closely with her clients to support long-term outcomes.
Whether assisting with post-injury recovery or enhancing athletic performance, Rebecca is committed to delivering high-quality care that helps her clients move with confidence and return to the activities they enjoy.

Alishia is a bubbly, energetic, and highly adaptable physiotherapist who genuinely enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities. She is a true all-rounder, with a passion for supporting clients to achieve their desired goals.
Alishia can help from everyday aches and pains, movement and balance through to complex sporting injuries, female athletes, post- surgical, and neurological rehabilitation. She also has interests in vestibular dysfunctions, concussion management and pain management.
She holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Rehabilitation Science, alongside her Physiotherapy qualifications, and brings extensive experience in strength and conditioning across both sporting environments and gym-based settings.
Alishia has previously worked in regional Western Australia, including remote communities, where she developed a broad practical skillset and a strong, people-first approach to care. This experience has shaped her ability to think holistically, adapt quickly, and support clients with a wide range of presentations.
Luke is an experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over a decade of experience supporting people across all stages of life — from general health and fitness through to injury rehabilitation and chronic condition management. He takes a strong, evidence-based approach, with a particular interest in pain, injury, and the interaction between physical, psychological, and lifestyle factors in recovery.
Luke is passionate about helping clients move better, build confidence, and achieve long-term, sustainable results. Luke has worked across clinical, corporate health, and sporting environments, including leadership roles delivering workplace health and injury prevention programs across Western Australia . He also brings extensive experience in Pilates-based rehabilitation and strength and conditioning.
Known for his approachable and down-to-earth style, Luke combines clinical expertise with empathy and humour to build strong, supportive relationships with his clients .
Outside of work, Luke enjoys basketball and is actively involved in coaching, focusing on developing confidence and performance in his players.

Stephanie is a warm and dedicated Occupational Therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. Her career has included working with both children and adults in a variety of settings, where she consistently brings a kind, thoughtful, and client-centred approach to every session.
Stephanie has a strong background in neurological rehabilitation, supporting clients to regain function, rebuild confidence, and maximise independence following injury, illness, or diagnosis. She takes a practical, goal-focused approach, working closely with clients and their support networks to ensure therapy is meaningful and relevant to everyday life.
She also has experience in minor home modifications and functional assessments, helping to create safe, supportive environments that enable clients to live more independently and comfortably within their homes.
Known for her calm and empathetic nature, Stephanie builds strong, trusting relationships with her clients. She is passionate about empowering people to achieve their goals and participate fully in the activities that matter most to them.
Ashlee Shaw is a dedicated Occupational Therapist who thrives on problem-solving and embraces every challenge with enthusiasm.
With experience working across different settings, including regional Western Australia, Ashlee enjoys supporting clients of all ages — though she has a particular passion for working with adults and older adults, where she makes a lasting impact on independence, function and quality of life.
Ashlee brings a bright and engaging personality to her work, connecting with clients in a genuine and supportive way. She has also travelled widely, including solo backpacking through Europe, which has given her a rich perspective on people, culture, and resilience.
Before becoming an OT, Ashlee worked at Bunnings in her “former life” — so whether it’s hardware or health care, she knows how to help you find the right tools for the job!

Jasmine is an experienced and highly skilled Occupational Therapist with a strong background in adult rehabilitation and complex community-based care. She brings a calm, thoughtful, and evidence-based approach to therapy, with a genuine passion for supporting people to regain independence and confidence in their daily lives.
Jasmine has worked extensively across rehabilitation-in-the-home, hospital-to-home transitions, and community settings, supporting clients with complex neurological, medical, and functional presentations. She has strong expertise in assistive technology, complex seating, minor home modifications, and functional assessments, and is well-versed in navigating NDIS, DVA, and other funding pathways.
Having held senior roles, Jasmine has also developed strong leadership skills, including supervising junior therapists, mentoring students, and contributing to streamlined clinical processes. She values collaboration and works closely within multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and meaningful outcomes for her clients.

Mandi Jacobs is an accomplished Occupational Therapist, originally from South Africa. Since qualifying in 2014, she has built a diverse and extensive career spanning community-based intervention, paediatrics, acute and sub-acute physical and neurological rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, disability claims assessments (FCEs), and the successful management of her own medico-legal private practice.
Mandi’s broad clinical experience allows her to work confidently with clients across the lifespan, adapting her approach to suit each individual’s unique needs, environments, and goals. She is particularly passionate about empowering people to regain independence, build capacity, and improve their quality of life through practical, client-focused strategies.

Kate holds a Master of Speech Pathology from the University of Queensland and brings a diverse background in healthcare, education, and community services. Her experience across both clinical and administrative roles supports her well-rounded, person-centred approach to care.
She has worked across telehealth, private practice, schools, homes, clinics, hospitals, and regional settings, supporting clients with a wide range of communication and feeding needs. Kate is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure her therapy remains evidence-based and tailored to each individual.

Melissa Van Zyl is a skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Pathologist with many years of experience working across the lifespan—from early childhood through to adulthood.

Matthew Bowering is the Managing Director of Palms Allied Health, working alongside his wife Kirsty to support the leadership and ongoing growth of the practice. With a background in Project Management, Engineering, Physics, and an MBA, he brings a structured, strategic approach to the business.
Matthew plays a key role behind the scenes, overseeing operations, systems, and business performance to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. His focus is on creating strong foundations that allow the clinical team to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
He is deeply committed to supporting both the team and clients, ensuring a fair, inclusive, and well-run environment. Working in partnership with Kirsty, Matthew helps drive the vision, sustainability, and continued success of Palms Allied Health.

Taryn Fewster is the Practice Manager at Palms Allied Health, overseeing the day-to-day operations across both the Noranda and Malaga clinics. With over 20 years of experience in practice management, she brings a wealth of knowledge, organisation, and leadership to the team.
Taryn plays a key role in supporting the directors, therapists, and clients, ensuring the clinics run smoothly and that every interaction is positive, efficient, and well-coordinated. She has a strong focus on creating systems that work, solving problems quickly, and maintaining a welcoming, supportive environment for both staff and clients.
Known for her approachable nature and attention to detail, Taryn is often the go-to person for keeping things on track behind the scenes. Her background in customer-facing roles, including her earlier career as a hairdresser, has shaped her ability to connect easily with people and deliver a high level of care and service.
Outside of work, Taryn enjoys staying active and spending time with her dog, bringing the same energy and balance into her role at Palms.
Abby is a friendly and detail-oriented member of the administration team, originally from Houston, Texas, before making the move to the “wild west” of Western Australia. She brings a strong background in customer service, administration, and healthcare support, with experience working in fast-paced, client-focused environments.
Abby holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus on business, and has developed excellent organisational and communication skills through her work across healthcare and administrative settings . She is known for her ability to manage busy schedules, handle high volumes of enquiries, and ensure clients feel supported and well-informed.
